Events

Monthly Pair-A-Dice Cruiser Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Choo Choo Bar in Loretto, MN. However, we like to cruise with our cars on nice nights so please call Tom Snook @ 763-479-0741 or Ed Larson @ 763-498-7265 to confirm the location of the current month’s meeting.

  • Delano Health Care Center Car Show 2011

    "On June 5, 2011, we once again gathered at the Delano Nursing Home and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for the residents. We’ve been doing this for several years now and we come away from this event with a happy heart. The residents get such joy in both getting out for a summer picnic and then looking at our cars. They all seem to pick a favorite before the day is over.

    We want to thank both the Route 55 Corvette Cruisers and the Buffalo Car Club for their involvement with this event this year."

  • 2011 Car Show (23rd Annual)

    "Thank you to everyone who braved the cloudy, and in some cases, rainy weather, to join us at our 23rd annual car show on August 13, 2011. We had another successful year thanks to your participation and that of our sponsors. We dedicated our show this year to our dear friend and member, Darryl Goskey, who we lost earlier this year. The good times we spent with him and his brother, Lyle, who we lost in 2010, will always be remembered and cherished. We hope you enjoy the pictures."

  • A little piece of "Pair-A-Dice" in Rockford

    "Pair-A-Dice Cruisers car club cofounders Dar Koecher of Rockford and Ed Larson, Loretto, present a check for $500 to the Riverworks Food Shelf in Rockford on behalf of the club."

  • Delano Health Care Center Car Show 2010

    "Once again we held our personal car show at the Delano Health Care Center for all of the residents, staff and friends on June 13th, 2010. The weather was perfect and everyone again enjoyed seeing their favorite cars. A meal of hamburgers and hot dogs was provided and visiting made a lasting memory."

  • 2010 Car Show (22nd Annual)

    "Our 22nd Annual Car Show was held on August 14th 2010. It was a picture perfect day and 248 cars came out for the competition. Great music played, door prizes were handed out and we even tried a new game – “Creeper Races”. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to our 2011 car show to be held on 9-13-2011."

  • 2010 Fall Cruise

    "Once again we joined the Land Of Lakes GTO Club for their Fall Cruise on October 2nd 2010. We met early in the morning and headed down south and followed the crew into Wisconsin through rolling hills and beautiful countryside. We stopped at a few places along the way before ending up in Rochester for a gathering and trivia contest. A big Thank You goes out to the GTO Club for allowing us to tag along once again."

  • 2010 Pair-A-Dice Cruisers Club Anniversary Party

    "We held the Pair-A-Dice Cruisers 22'nd anniversary party at Grand Casino Mille Lacs the evening of February 20th. After a great buffet dinner we gathered together to see the entertainment of Philip Bauer who is "The Legend of Johnny Cash". He sounded and even looked like "Johnny Cash". Some people then played Bingo, there were a few winners with that and others played out their luck with the slots. I don't think there were any big winners, at least no one claimed to have won big. Once again a good time was had by those that attended. Thanks go out to Marcy Dalchow for setting up this gathering."

  • 2010 Spring Cruise

    "Early on the morning of April 24th, 2010 the Cruisers met up and traveled to Kellogg MN to Lark Toys. This is a wonderful place to see a museum of old toys, new toys and original Lark Toys that they make and sell there. There is a beautiful Carousel that is inside and can be ridden on. After touring that we went to a little hometown cafe for breakfast and had fast service and great food. There were 22 flavors of HOMEMADE pie to choose from too. Once we left Kellogg we headed back to Austin MN and then toured the Spam Museum. There we learned the "true" history of Spam, how it is made and amazingly how much is made..... After that some of us stayed overnight in town, then drove home the next morning. Thank you Jim Hovind, Tom Snook and Ed Larson for planning this outing."
